I started out this morning just going out for a casual run. I didn't know what kind of run I wanted to do- a long run or short intervals.
I turned left and just kept going and going and going. It felt so good. I ended up running to my son's school and back. Not that 5 miles is all that, but it did feel great. It took me about 40 min. I am happy with that time.
I would like to work up to a half-marathon. I need to incorporate a training plan for that.

Greetings, Tri Chica, child of God :-) It is always a nice thing to have friends of which I am not even aware! Congrats on finishing your first triathlon. Where's our race report? Hmmm? LOL. I see my Dee Dee found you first. That's really cool. Having the Spousal Unit excited about tri-ing and running is a big deal.
There are all kinds of training plans available for free for every conceivable race you could want to do, all the way from 5K to marathon, to sprint to Ironman... Lemme know if you need any guidance there.
Don't be a stranger. It's always special to get to know another local triathlete. Rock on!! Rock proud :-)
