I took the plunge

I bought a bike!
Allez Specialized
My bike time is the weakest part of my triathlon, so I really need to work on this area. I wanted to buy an entry bike so I can later upgrade the components. Since this is my 2nd triathlon on Sunday and I have always borrowed a bike to train and race, I didn't have anything to go with the bike. I purchased a spare tube and co2 kit. I know that I need a seat bag, bottle holder and pump. Anything else essential that I need before the race?

Work-out
Monday- Run 45 min
Swim- 1hour
Tuesday- Brick-Bike 1 hour
Run 30 min
Wednesday- Rest
Thursday-Bike 45 min
Swim-1 hour
Friday- Run easy
Saturday- Easy Bike
Sunday- Lake Murray Triathlon

Congrats on the bike purchase. You will want two tire levers. This way if you get a flat you will be able to get the tire off. You will want to find some sort of compact multitool in case you need to make some sort of adjustment while on a ride. you may want to find some sort of small patch kit in case you were to get more then one flat on the same ride.

For buying cheap parts, tools, etc you cant beat performance bike. Their service can be so-so, but they usually have the lowest price for supplies.

Good luck in your race.
